Hourglass Body Shape-

This is a perfect body shape. If your bodywidth at your bust is the same as the width at your hip area, and a defined waistline, you come in the category of hourglass body shape. Women with this body shape tend to have narrow or well defined waist, giving them that gorgeous curve look – these women are bound to have secret haters who wish to be like them.

Apple or Round Body Shape –

If your Hips as well as Bust width are smaller than your Waist measurement, then you come in the category of apple or round body shaped woman. To camouflage your figure to appear slimmer, you can wear wrap tops and wrap dresses with slim and long sleeve length.
Rectangle Body Shape-

It resembles a cylinder like shape and considered as the most common body shape because 40% to 50% of women fall into this category. If you have a rectangle body shape, your hip and bust measurements are almost same with no waist definition. One of the best things about being rectangle is you can try different dresses such as full skirts, kimono tops, wide leg jeans, etc. If you are short in height, wear jeans that are specifically designed for short women.
Triangle or Pear Body Shape –

Women with broader hip measurements than the bust come in the category of triangle shaped or sometimes referred as Pear shaped. They generally have wider hips than their shoulders. To get an appearance of wider shoulders and longer legs, pear shaped women should try close fitting jeans and tops with a fitted waist.
Wedge or Inverted Triangle Body Shape-

If you fall into a category of wedge or inverted triangle body shape, your hip width measurement is less than your bust measurement. You are advised to wear dresses which add volume to your lower half while accentuating your best features. It’s good to try palazzo pants, full skirts, baggy jeans and flared pants.
